About Us

Inward Wilderness was founded by Douglas Radandt, MA, who developed this uncommon approach to well-being.

Doug has a keen interest in human development and how the body participates in relationship between our sense of self, other people and the natural environment. He combines extensive training in movement, somatic psychology, group dynamics, play and his love for natural spaces into his private practice near Boulder, Colorado.

In addition to conducting his private practice, Doug teaches graduate and undergraduate students at Naropa University and Front Range Community College. He has published research in the area of the somatic awareness and the therapeutic relationship.

Doug holds a Masters Degree in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University, and a Masters Degree in Philosophy from the University of Montana. When he is not teaching or conducting his private practice, he can be found playing on rock and fast-moving water with family and friends.
